Colour and Foam Run 2019
We held a community Colour and Foam Run in August 2019 and what a day it was! Over 100 families attended this event to celebrate children and young people of all abilities.
Tractor Run
Over the years Sensory Kids has hosted Tractor Runs which brings so much joy to the community. Tractor Runs encourages everyone to get involved and celebrate everyone’s differences.
Ulster Rugby – Pink Panther
In May 2019 the Ulster Rugby boys created the Pink Panther in aid of Sensory Kids in the Monte Carlo or Bust Rally. The team drove over 1000 miles to Monte Carlo via Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Team members Matthew Rea, Jonathan Simpson, David Busby and Andrew Warwick were challenged to source a banger car for less than £500 and took part in a variety of Top Gear-style challenges along the way and competed for points and prizes.
Abseil Down the Europa
This group of very brave people raised awareness for children and young people with disabilities by completing our ‘Abseil Down the Europa’ in October 2019. What an amazing achievement!
